The rough draft of your essay on one symbol or theme from Fahrenheit 451 is due ON FRIDAY. We won't have any more class time to work on this draft before then, so anything you have not finished will have to be done as homework.
Remember: Your test on the novel will be NEXT Tuesday - December 7.

We discussed symbols, characters, style, setting, and theme in chapters 10-14 of The Scarlet Letter. Read through chapter 20 for Friday.
